Crew Class

Crew class is an opportunity for students to work behind the scenes for theatre productions. This class ONLY meets during the weeks of rehearsals for our mainstage theatre productions (around 12 weeks).

Crews are not very large, usually 6 students max.  They are the ones who design, construct and paint sets.  They move sets onto the stage and off the stage during each rehearsal and production.  Depending on experience, they also have other responsibilities such as running the sound or the lights, assisting with costumes, and stage make-up.

If you are interested in working on the Crew, you will need to apply at the Front Desk once you see that we are announcing Auditions for the upcoming production.

At that time you must fill out an application, be selected, and enroll in the Crew class (Thursdays, 2:45-4:15).

You will also need to attend rehearsals (4:30-6:30 twice weekly, Tues/Thurs), Tech week, and Performances (check the show pages for specific dates).

Ages: 13 and up

Cost: $99

(payment plan available)

Production t-shirts will be available for $15.

You do not have to take other classes at the Center.

Parents must attend a meeting during the first 30 minutes of the first rehearsal, and be willing to volunteer at least one of the production nights.

Each family will receive two complimentary tickets per Crew Member.
