Annie JR.

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

This camp is open to all mature students (age eight min.) who can memorize lines and want to perform on stage. Regardless of where they attend school, all students may register for this camp. This will be a fun but professional experience. Parents must practice with their students at home if NEW to the theatre. Parents cannot stay with their students on campus while participating in Theatre Camp. Students must attend all camp days, be on time, and arrive early for performance dates*.

(*Prior approval from Mrs. Bucy, theatre Director, is the only exception.)

Younger students may require a guardian or older sibling to fix their hair and makeup before camp days and before "call time" during tech week and performance days.

Tickets to the performances will be sold to families first. Guardians will volunteer during the week of the 15th - 20th for tech week and performances. We cannot put on this camp without guardian participation.
